Adam’s Angels will host their 1st Annual 5K Run on Saturday, June 18.
The run, held at Robinson Secondary School, 5035 Sideburn Road, Fairfax, will benefit the Adam P. Seymour Foundation.
The 5K race starts at 8:00 am, with the Fun Run/Walk starting at 8:06 am.

Online registration can be found at http://prracing.racebx.com. The fee is $25 by June 1st, the price goes up to $30 after. There will be race day registration.

On August 19, 2010 Adam Patrick Seymour, a 2010 graduate of Robinson High School, and an incoming freshman at Lynchburg College, collapsed while competing in a pre-season training run with the college’s soccer team. Adam subsequently died on August 22, 2010 because of the cardiac arrest which struck him on August 19th. In order to honor Adam and keep his memory alive, his friends and family have started the Adam P. Seymour Foundation and the Adam Angels 5K.
The Adam P. Seymour Foundation is a non-profit organization with 501(c)(3) status and is dedicated to provide scholarships to deserving athletes who demonstrate academic, civic and/or artistic achievement, provide assistance and support for congenital heart defect (CHD) and sudden cardiac arrest research and will also provide AED education, awareness and placement. The Adam P. Seymour Foundation will be presenting their first scholarship this spring to a graduating Robinson Senior and has provided funding for Cardiac research with the Alpha Phi Sorority.
