This is an out-and-back course almost completely around Burke Lake. The start/finish is at the northern end of the Burke Lake Park Ice Cream Parlor/Merry-Go-Round parking lot on main roadway ("Start" is painted on road surface). The race proceeds clockwise around lake over mildly rolling terrain
