Monday July 18th is the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Blackburn's Ford and the Northern Virginia Regional Park Authority is hosting a commemoration event that evening at 7:00 P.M. This event will include living history re-enactors firing 21 gun salutes, remarks from a local historian, and others, and the dedication of replica winter quarters recently built at Bull Run Regional Park to help interpret this area during the Civil War.
