Fatal Bar Fight Leaves Man Dead In Centreville: Police

A Centreville man was fatally stabbed Saturday during a bar fight at a sports bar, with one man arrested and two others sought: FCPD

CENTREVILLE, VA — A Centreville man was fatally stabbed early Saturday morning during a bar fight in a Velocity Five sports bar, with one man arrested and two more being sought, according to Fairfax County Police. Killed was Harold Garnett, who was taken to an area hospital in critical condition from stab wounds to the upper body and died several hours later.

Vidal Flores Cuchillaas, 38, of Centreville, initially was charged with malicious wounding but now is looking a murder charges. He was found hiding in nearby bushes. Police believe he and two others also were involved in a second incident during the fight that left a 26-year-old man with minor injuries.

The suspects are described as Hispanic, in their mid 20s with thin builds. Police say there were around 50 witnesses that night at Velocity Five, and seeking witnesses. Anyone with information is urged to call 703-246-7865.
