Frey, Herrity to Host Town Hall on Home Day Care Licensing
Supervisors Michael Frey and Pat Herrity will speak at the Fairfax County Government Center Monday to answer questions about proposed changes to licensing.
Sully District Supervisor and Springfield District Supervisor Pat Herrity will host a town hall meeting Monday to discuss changes to in-home daycare provider licensing.
The Fairfax County Board of Supervisors is considering changing ordinances to allow for up to 12 children in home with a special permit.
Frey said in an email that he and Herrity will host the meeting to discuss issues and answer questions about proposed changes to licensing. The changes will affect state and county licensed in-home child care providers.

Along with Frey and Herrity, representatives from the Fairfax County Office for Children and the Department of Planning and Zoning will be present to answer questions.
The Child Care Provider and Parent’s Town Hall Meeting takes place at 7 p.m. on July 23, in the Board Auditorium at the Fairfax County Government Center, 12000 Government Center Pkwy. Fairfax.
