Historic Culpeper Church To Be Featured On Paranormal TV Show

Fairfax Public Access TV series 'The Witching Hour' will be investigating the hauntings inside the Fleetwood Church.

Local paranormal investigators with Argos Paranormal will be investigating the hauntings inside the Fleetwood Church in the fifth episode of their TV series The Witching Hour. The episode will follow the investigators as they travel to Brandy Station, Virginia, to spend the night in the former Methodist church, where owner Steve Pollett has heard unexplained voices echo throughout the church, shadow figures pass through the doorways, and objects mysteriously disappear, while other visitors have reportedly felt a heavy atmosphere as they enter the church sanctuary.

To give a little context regarding the history of Fleetwood Church, it was an operating church from 1881 to approximately 1974. It played an integral role in the Brandy Station community by serving as not only the town church but, a cultural hub where locals would gather for community events. Fleetwood Church, however, was constructed on top of what used to be the Brandy Graveyard, which served as both the town cemetery and a burial site for soldiers who fought in the Battle of Brandy Station.

Viewers in Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William County can watch this episode through Channel 10 (Fairfax Public Access) on Dec 21 at 5:00 pm and again on Dec 22 at 10:00 pm. However, if you happen to reside outside of the counties mentioned above, viewers can watch this episode over on YouTube starting Dec 24 at 9 am.
