Parked Vehicles Spray-Painted by Vandals: Media Report
Up to 35 vehicles were tagged Saturday night in Centreville; no suspects have been apprehended.

A vandal or vandals spray-painted about 35 cars and vans on Saturday night in a Centreville neighborhood, according to a media report.
Residents woke up Sunday morning to discover their vehicles covered with streaks of paint, WRC-TV Channel 4 reported. The vehicles were parked along Lee Overlook Road, and the damage occurred at some time Saturday night, according to the NBC affiliate.
The Fairfax County police are investigating the vandalisms, Channel 4 said. They occurred in the wake of another rash of vehicle vandalisms in the Little Rocky Run community, a few miles to the south.

Last week, the police arrested four teenage boys for starting fires that damaged or destroyed 11 vehicles parked on the streets of the Clifton-area neighborhood. The youths allegedly set seven of the vehicles on fire in the early-morning hours of Saturday, July 18.
