Police: Driver Ignored Officer's Signal To Pull Over
Falls Church man faces multiple charges, say Fairfax County police.

The Fairfax County police arrested a Falls Church man Thursday morning in his vehicle in Centreville after he allegedly eluded an officer in Chantilly who tried to pull him over.
Curtis L. Porter Jr. was charged with felony speed to elude, driving on a revoked license for DWI and possession of marijuana, according to a police report.
At about 8:33 a.m., the officer attempted to pull over a vehicle for a traffic violation on Stringfellow Road near Melville Lane, the report stated.

The driver disregarded the officer’s signal to stop and continued south on Stringfellow. The vehicle stopped on Singletons Way near Federation Drive, just south of New Braddock Road in Centreville, and Porter was arrested, the police said.
