Local Preschoolers Raise $1,500 for Charity: The Learning Experience, Chantilly

Preschoolers at The Learning Experience, Chantilly / South Riding dedicated the month of February to their biggest philanthropy event of the year, raising $1,500 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). This was their 3rd year supporting LLS and they were excited to beat their goal from the previous year. The Learning Experience, an academy of early education, has a philanthropy program that has been greatly successful in teaching preschool aged children the values of selflessness and giving back to their communities. These values are brought to life as children are involved in charity and various acts of kindness.

To raise the funds for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Preschoolers hosted a Silent Auction that included pieces of their own artwork and donations from local business such as gift certificates. Simultaneously, the children also participated in Pennies for Patients, collecting coins and competing for the classroom with the largest donation. At the end of the month, all proceeds were collected from both activities to create this amazing donation to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Way to go children of The Learning Experience in Chantilly!
