Spine Care of Manassas Helps Collect Sneakers

Assistance League of Northern Virginia is very grateful that Dr. Lincoln German has agreed to collect athletic shoes at his Spine Care of Manassas Chiropractic Center to help with the GotSneakers campaign. Dr. German and staff at the Chiropractic Center have supported Assistance League for many years and the nonprofit values this long-standing partnership.

Anyone can visit the Chiropractic Center at 10633 Crestwood Drive, Manassas, and drop off new or gently used pairs of athletic shoes, such as sneakers, and running, basketball, gym, or training shoes. No work boots, flip-flops, Crocs, or metal cleats.

Through this fund-raising effort, Assistance League is reimbursed based on the condition of the sneakers donated. New shoes and sneakers in good condition are provided to those who can’t otherwise afford such footwear. Shoes not suitable for reuse are recycled for other purposes, including as paving materials.
