TICKETS NOW ON SALE FOR MIA SAUNDERS BALLET PRESENTS HOLIDAY CLASSIC: THE NUTCRACKER DEC. 12 and 13.

The Mia Saunders School of Ballet will put on a full student production of the holiday classic, The Nutcracker, December 12 and 13, 2015 at 3:00 pm in the Centreville High School Auditorium. A giving tradition for twenty-three years, the Mia Saunders School of Ballet student production relies on parent and student volunteers from the school and Centreville High School drama boosters who generously donate time and talent to put on this beautiful show for the community. All proceeds from the production benefit Centreville High School Drama Scholarships and new, unwrapped toys will be collected at the door in support of the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation.

Each winter the Mia Saunders School of Ballet proudly continues its winter tradition of performing as a gift for others. The students perform in The Nutcracker and their parents contribute their talents towards the production of the performance, making this a family and community event.

“Each year, I am so proud of my dancers, who work so hard to put on this beautiful production,” says Saunders, “Seeing my students performing as a gift for others and sharing this treasured holiday classic with the community is a very rewarding experience.”

“I have performing in The Nutcracker since I was in kindergarten. The first year, I was a little angel in the opening of Act II and every year, I look forward to learning a new part of this beautiful show” says Westfield’s high senior Morgan Raymond and this year’s Sugar Plum Fairy, who has been dancing with Saunders since she was five years old.

Tickets prices for the December 12 and December 13 at 3:00 pm shows are just $12 Adults and $10 Students, Children and Seniors (age 62+). Tickets can be purchased at the door or pre-sale is available by email at msb.nutcracker.tickets@gmail.com.
