Youth With Machete at School Arrested in Centreville: Police
The 15-year-old boy was spotted with it at Centre Ridge Elementary School, according to Fairfax County Police. No injuries were reported.
CENTREVILLE, VA — A 15-year-old boy was detained by police Monday after being spotted at Centre Ridge Elementary School, 14400 New Braddock Road, with a machete, according to Fairfax County Police.
The youth was arrested and charges are pending for possession of a weapon on school property.
Around 5 p.m., police responded to a report of a teenager brandishing a weapon.
