As of 3:45 p.m. Monday, about 1,200 Dominion customers remained without power.

Dominion spokeswoman Le-Ha Anderson said Alexandria, Arlington, southern Fairfax County and the Springfield community were the hardest hit communities in this region by the storm in terms of outages.

Collectively, Dominion has restored about 90 percent of power to Northern Virginia customers. Anderson said the company expects that to be at 97 percent by the end of the day, and crews should have the region wrapped up by Tuesday.

After that, local crews will be sent to Richmond and the Tidewater area to help with efforts there, Anderson said.

As of noon Monday, 11 streets remained blocked with trees and/or downed wires, according to an email from county spokeswoman Diana Sun. The county is working with Dominion Power to clear those lines.

No damage has been reported to public buildings or equipment, Sun stated.

There was minor damage to the stage at Lubber Run Amphitheater due to a downed power line.

So far, the county has catalogued three homes that sustained storm-related damage.

No significant flooding or storm-related injuries have been reported, according to Sun.
