REPORTS

MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 2021-08220036, 2300 block of S. Eads Street. At approximately 1:42 a.m. on August 22, police were dispatched to the report of an assault that had just occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined that the three victims were waiting in line inside a restaurant when the unknown suspect confronted them. The suspect pushed Victim One, causing him and Victim Two to fall to the ground. The suspect then began to assault Victim One and struck Victim Three victim when he attempted to intervene. Medics treated the three victims on scene for non-life threatening injuries. The suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival. The suspect is described as a white male with black hair, 5’9” – 6’0” tall and approximately 180 – 200 lbs. The investigation is ongoing.

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY (late), 2021-08210196, 1400 block of 28th Street S. At approximately 6:32 p.m. on August 21, police were dispatched to the late report of a robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined that between 8:45 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. on August 20, the victim was walking in the area when he was pushed from behind by the unknown suspect and fell to the ground. The suspect attempted to take the victim’s wallet but fled the scene after a witness called out to him. The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 18 to 23 years old, 6’0” tall with a slim build, wearing a black hoodie and black shorts. The investigation is ongoing.

ROBBERY (late), 2021-08210272, 3000 block of 22nd Street S. At approximately 11:42 p.m. on August 21, police were dispatched to the late report of a robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined that approximately 40 minutes prior, the male victim met with the suspect for the prearranged sale of sneakers. The suspect brought the victim down a residential hallway where the second suspect was waiting. The suspects then grabbed the victim, assaulted him and stole an undisclosed amount of cash from his person before fleeing into the building. Suspect One is described as a short, light skin male with short curly hair, approximately 5’4” tall, 130 – 140 lbs. He was wearing a white tank top, black jeans and white shoes at the time of the incident. Suspect Two is described as a heavyset Middle Eastern male, approximately 6’0” tall, 220 – 230 lbs with a chin strap beard. He was wearing a black sweatshirt, black joggers, black shoes and carrying a backpack. The investigation is ongoing.
