REPORTS

UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 2021-09040025, 1200 block of N. Irving Street. At approximately 1:16 a.m. on September 4, police were dispatched to the report of a breaking and entering in progress. Based upon information provided by dispatch, arriving officers located one of the suspects in the area and took him into custody without incident. A search of the area was conducted for the second suspect, which concluded with negative results. The investigation determined that the reporting party heard loud banging and allegedly observed the two male suspects force entry into the vacant establishment. Michael Mutz, 20, of Arlington, Va., was arrested and charged with Unlawful Entry and Drunk in Public. There is no suspect description for the outstanding suspect. The investigation is ongoing.

LARCENY FROM AUTO (SERIES), 2021-09030083 / 09030124  /09030125, 2300 block of S. Arlington Ridge Road / 1200 block of Oakcrest Road. At approximately 9:52 a.m. on September 3, police were dispatched to the report of multiple larcenies from auto. The investigation determined that between 10:30 p.m. on September 2 and 9:52 a.m. on September 3, the unknown suspect(s) entered approximately four vehicles and rummaged through them. A variety of tools and personal items were reported stolen from the victim vehicles. There is no suspect(s) description. The investigation is ongoing.
