Arlington County Publishes Crime Report For July 13

REPORTS

ROBBERY, 2021-07120224, 1000 block of S. Frederick Street. At approximately 10:23 p.m. on July 12, police were dispatched to the report of a dispute between known individuals. Upon arrival, it was determined that the male suspect was acting belligerent inside the victim’s residence. When she asked him to leave, he attempted to take her personal property. The victim contacted 9-1-1 for assistance and the suspect grabbed her phone, hung up and left the residence with it. Warrants for Robbery and Preventing Emergency Call were obtained for the suspect.

BURGLARY, 2021-07120046, 4800 block of 1st Street N. At approximately 7:54 a.m. on July 12, police were dispatched to the report of two vandalized businesses. Upon arrival, it was determined that unknown suspect(s) broke the glass door to a business with a rock, gained entry and stole a cash register. The door to a second business was damaged but no entry was made and nothing was reported stolen. There is no suspect(s) description at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
