Arlington Man Doesn't Trust Banks, Loses $10K in Burglary
Police: Burglar also stole laptop.

Police are investigating a burglary in the Arlington View neighborhood that cost a man his laptop and $10,000 in cash.
Between 10:30 a.m. Thursday and 12:20 a.m. Friday, an unknown person entered a basement bedroom in the 1000 block of South Quinn Street and took the computer and the cash, according to police.
The burglar got in through a window, according to police.

Half of the money was in a safe; half, under a blanket or towel in a closet, police spokesman Dustin Sternbeck said.
"The victim stated he did not trust the bank with his money, so that's why he kept it all there in cash," Sternbeck said. "I don't know how many people were aware he had $10,000 in his bedroom."
