How to Stay Sane While Planning Your Wedding
Planning a wedding can be stressful, but there are ways to be proactive to stop the stress before it starts. Learn how in this blog post.

I totally understand, but sometimes you manage to wind yourself up so much, that even the smallest thing can cause tears to shed, temperatures to flare, and feelings to be hurt. Remember that the only thing that really matters is why you are there, and what brought you there. So if the caterer forgot the butter for the rolls, one of your bridesmaids doesn’t show up for rehearsal, or the wedding starts fifteen minutes late, guess what?! It’s okay because so long as the three of you are there, you, your Fiancé, and the Officiant, the day will go on. In the end you, and your guests will probably not notice or remember.
To help you stay sane, I recommend that you spend at least one night without working on planning your wedding. Don’t talk about it, don’t call any vendors, don’t do any research, don’t go dress shopping….NOTHING. If you spend every waking moment talking and obsessing about your wedding, sometimes for some brides it becomes like another job. With anything that you constantly do, in time you begin to dislike it; it becomes something else that needs to be done. Even at work you need to take a break. No one can just sit for hours doing the same thing without some sort of release. So make sure to have your release! Go to the spa, have a nice dinner with your fiancé, read a book, whatever you do, just make sure to take a break! Rome wasn’t built in a day!
Delegation is a wonderful word, especially when it comes to wedding planning. It makes life much simpler for you and for those around you. Ask a trusted friend or relative, if you do not have a wedding planner; it makes your life simpler because you don’t have to try to do everything on your own.
