In honor of Earth Month, The Nature Conservancy is working with George Mason University on an event focused on climate change. There will be a screening of “Extreme Realities,” which investigates the connection between weather, climate change, and national security. After the film, there will be a panel discussion, which will feature the Conservancy’s own Director of International Government Relations, Andrew Deutz, the filmmakers Hal and Marilyn Weiner, and Andrew Light, a professor at the university as well as a Senior Adviser to the Special Envoy on Climate Change in the U.S. Department of State.
