Crime Report: Man Passes Out in Condo Lobby and More

The Arlington County Police Department has released the following incident reports.

Unlawful Entry

A man entered the lobby of a condominium building over the weekend and passed out, according to police.

The incident occurred between 2 and 7:40 a.m. Sunday at the complex in the 3600 block of North 10th Street.

The lobby door and a couch sustained damage. The man wore a red Nationals hat and an orange Virginia Tech sweatshirt at the time, according to police. The man was described as in his 20s, about 6 feet tall and 180 pounds.

A Reston man is accused of breaking into a car repair shop garage and trying to ram the car through the bay door to get away.

The Arlington County Police Department reports that it received a call about a burglary in progress at 1:42 a.m. on Feb. 7 in the 6900 block of North Lee Highway. The burglar broke in, turned the car on, and tried to drive the car through the bay door, according to police. Officers entered the building and were able to take the driver into custody.

Kyle David Stefanye, 20, was charged with burglary and attempted grand larceny of an auto. He is being held without bond.

Someone broke into a home between 7:55 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Feb. 6 in the 4600 block of North 26th Street, according to police. The hinges of a door were damaged and several items were stolen.

A burglar took $238 in cash from a drawer inside a medical office suite, according to police. The money was taken sometime between 7:07 p.m. Feb. 7 and 7:45 a.m. Feb. 8 from the office in the 2500 block of North Glebe Road.

A wallet was stolen sometime between Jan. 31 and Feb. 2 from a home in the 1200 block of South Courthouse Road, according to police.

A laptop was taken sometime between 11 a.m. and 3:25 p.m. Sunday from a home in the 5100 block of South Eighth Road, police report.
