Examiner: Arlington Taxi Drivers 'Sit-In' at County Offices

About 100 cabbies demand "due process."

About 100 Arlington taxi drivers staged a sit-in at Arlington County offices this week, according to the Washington Examiner.

The drivers said they were upset over a 2-year-old law that stipulates at-will employment, prohibits them from moving between companies and denies them total rights to the vehicles they purchase, the Examiner stated.

The county is looking to lay out a process to hear the drivers' concerns.
