Five Things: Oct. 10, 2011

Five things to know about what's going on in and around Arlington.

With so much going on, we've decided to bring back Patch's "Five Things" -- a regular potpourri of what's going on in and around Arlington.

Remember, part of Patch's goal is to serve as a community hub, so feel free to add your own "things" in the comments section.

Or, if you have something that feels a little bit bigger than this, email jason.spencer@patch.com or abigail@patch.com. One of Patch's strengths is our ability to showcase people in our community. We're happy to consider running photos and/or information on everything from a neighborhood potluck to a public safety hazard and everything in between.
