Man, 40, Punched Victim at Clarendon Restaurant, Police Report

A 40-year-old man was charged with punching someone in the face at a Clarendon restaurant. Tony Christopher Collins, of Arlington, was charged with malicious wounding, according to police reports.
The incident took place at 3 p.m. on March 17 on the 4100 block of North Fairfax Drive, according to police. The victim was seated in the outdoor area of the restaurant when reportedly Collins approached him and said that a woman in the group was his ex-girlfriend.
Police said Collins walked away, but then returned a few minutes later and punched the victim several times in the face, causing a deep cut above the victim’s right eye. The victim was taken to the hospital and treated for his injuries.

Collins is being held without bond.
