Most Arlington County Offices Closed on New Year's Eve, Day

Arlington County offices — including courts, human services and libraries — will be closed Monday and Tuesday for for New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.

Open Door Mondays are cancelled New Year's Eve.

On Monday and Tuesday, Arlington County General District Court and Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court will be closed.

DMV Select is closed Monday and Tuesday.

Barcroft Community Center will be open 6 a.m. to noon on New Year's Eve; all other community centers will be closed those days. And all community centers will be closed on New Year's Day.

Arlington Public Schools will be closed through Wednesday.

Parking meters will not be enforced on New Year's Day.

The Arlington County Board will hold its traditional New Year's Day organizational meeting at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the County Board Room on the third floor of the administration building at 2100 Clarendon Blvd.
