On the scene, damaged vehicles were in the car lot on the corner of Wilson and 10th. A front corner of the building at 3260 N. Wilson Blvd. was damaged.

The Arlington County Fire Department has transported at least one person to an area hospital, Sternbeck said. The extent of injuries and the number of people involved is unknown.

Police are directing traffic, but do not have an estimated time as to when the signal will be restored. Motorists are advised to expect delays or seek alternate routes through the area, Sternbeck said.

Wilson Boulevard, between Washington and 10th, is closed to all traffic while officers investigate the crash.
