Police: Three Men Jailed in Armed Robbery of $10, Cell Phone
Incident took place in Columbia Forest neighborhood shortly before midnight.
A man walking home from work Thursday night told police he was robbed at knifepoint of his cell phone and about $10 in the Columbia Forest neighborhood.
The Arlington County Police Department has charged 18-year-olds Alyas Kahsay of Arlington and Christopher Jiron of Falls Church, along with 21-year-old Majdi Mohammad of Bedford, N.H., with armed robbery.
Three assailants approached the man walking home at about 11:45 p.m. Thursday in the 5000 block of South 10th Street, according to information released by police.

One brandished a knife while another went through the man's pockets, according to police. They then ran.
Investigators set up a perimeter and deployed a police dog. They were assisted by a helicopter from the U.S. Park Police.

An Arlington officer spotted one suspect in the nearby woods, said police spokesman Dustin Sternbeck. The police dog located the other two suspects in bushes not far away.
They were taken into custody without incident, Sternbeck said.
