Politico Reporter Resigns Due to Plagiarism

Editors found evidence of using others' work after examining seven stories.

Politico reporter Kendra Marr resigned this week after editors of the Arlington-based publication determined she plagiarized others' work at least seven times, according to the Associated Press.

Editors began comparing stories by Marr when a New York Times writer contacted them Wednesday pointing out similarities between a recent Times story and one of Marr's, the AP reported.

Editors found "troubling similarities to work earlier published by others," according to the AP.
