Reading Stories with Ranger Steph: Talking Turkey!
Oxon Cove Park 6411 Oxon Hill Road Oxon Hill, MD 20745 Monday, November 17, 2014 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.

Gobble-gobble! Gobble-gobble! The wild turkeys who live in the woods of Oxon Cove Park love to strut their stuff during the cool days of autumn. Every third Monday of the month, come listen to stories, sing songs, and enjoy other activities. This month, join Ranger Steph as she takes a look at the beautiful bird that Benjamin Franklin called “though a little vain & silly, a Bird of Courage.” For babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and the adults who love them. Oxon Cove Park is only minutes away, just across the Wilson Bridge. No fee. Meet Ranger Steph in the Visitor Barn. For more information, call 301-839-1176.
