Saturday is Drug-Take Back Day
Drop off your expired, used, or unwanted prescription drugs in Arlington.

Saturday is National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day, and several Arlington County locations will serve as drop-off points.
The event is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at several Arlington locations, including the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration headquarters at 551 Army Navy Drive.

The event is meant to help residents dispose of potentially dangerous expired, unused, or unwanted prescription drugs, according to the DEA.

Since 2010, law enforcement officials and the DEA have taken in more than 2 million pounds of expired prescription drugs, according to a press release from the administration.
