Three Charged in Death of Arlington Man Mack L. Wood

The victim's son was one of the men charged with murder.

The son of the victim and two other men have been charged with murder in the October death of 87-year-old Mack L. Wood of Arlington.

Wood was found dead in his home in the 3700 block of North Wakefield Street by a family member, according to the Arlington County Police Department.

After an extensive investigation, three were charged.

Mack Leon Wood Jr., 47, the son of the victim, has been charged with first degree murder. He was found by the U.S. Marshals Service in the Tampa, Fla., according to police.

Jean Caleb Pierre, 32, and Sapien Edmonds, 29, both of Henrico, have also been charged with first degree murder.

All three men are currently being held without bond.
