8th Annual Duck Splash
Tickets are now on sale for the annual Duck Splash race in Occoquan, the net proceeds of which benefit the Occoquan.Woodbridge.Neabsco (O.W.N.) Optimist Club and the Prince William Trails and Streams Coalition.This year the Duck Splash will take place at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 14. Watch thousands of numbered rubber ducks drop from the Route 123 bridge and race along the water. Tickets to "adopt" a duck are $5, and prizes are awarded for 1st through 10th place, and range from $500 to $20. You do not need to be present to win.
To purchase tickets online go to the site of the Prince William Trails and Streams Coalition. You may also purchase tickets at the Occoquan Arts & Crafts Show on June 7 & 8, at select Occoquan businesses until June 13, and in town on the day of the event until approximately 12:15 p.m.
