Prince William County Virginia... On May 17 at the Four Points by Sheraton in Manassas, The Prince William Committee of 100 will host a program to discuss How Will We Get Our Local News in 2017? We will hear from a distinguished panel about the current market for print journalism, the role that electronic media can and cannot play in covering local news, and the accuracy and reliability of local reporting in the era of blogs and advocacy journalism.
The program is open to the public, at no charge, and will begin at 7:45 p.m. A meet and greet begins at 6:30 p.m. followed by dinner at 7:00 p.m. Reservations and payment are required for dinner. For additional information, go to www.pwc100.org.
