Heavy Rain, Thunderstorms Likely Tuesday

Umbrellas will not be optional Tuesday, with rain expected during the day, and thunderstorms expected Tuesday afternoon and evening, according to a forecast from the National Weather Service.

“Isolated damaging winds and localized heavy rain may be possible from thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon and evening,” according to the NWS Hazardous Weather Alert.

According to the NWS, showers are expected to continue into Tuesday afternoon, with thunderstorms beginning in the mid-afternoon and lingering into the night.

Partly cloudy skies are in the forecast for Wednesday, before skies clear and pleasant temperatures offer terrific weather for the rest of the week.
