New Anchor Stores Under Construction at Potomac Mills

Construction is well underway for three big additions to Potomac Mills mall in Woodbridge.

Saks Off 5th Avenue relocated to space beside Costco last year, opening up an anchor store space. Owners of Buy Buy Baby and And That! are renovating the former Saks, along with the space next to it, formerly a furniture store that closed soon after Saks' exit.

Both new stores are part of the Bed, Bath & Beyond company. Buy Buy Baby is a baby store. And That!, formerly Christmas Tree Shops, is a bargain store. Mall management expects the stores to open this spring.

Meanwhile, a sign teases Moe's Southwest Grill's eventual arrival. The Atlanta-based burrito restaurant currently has a location in Manassas near the Prince William Parkway. There is no announced opening date.
