If your child needs to be hospitalized for more than 24 hours, they will have to either go to Inova Fairfax initially or be transferred there! What kind of a community hospital is that??? Why are children less important than the new addition that they are building or the state of the art cardiac center that they are attempting to become? That's right!!! They are NOT less important, so why is this happening? I do not consider a few beds off of the ER Dept. that hold children for less than 24 hours a " pediatric unit". Please spread the word to anyone that this may affect and I guess if you think about it, that's everyone really!!!
