Your Take: How Would a Government Shutdown Affect You?

With a shutdown of the federal government looking more and more likely if congressional leaders are unable to reach an agreement on budget negotiations by midnight Friday, Patch is looking at the potential effects here in Dale City. 

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, nearly a quarter of the civilian work force in Dale City is made up of government workers. While not all of those employees would be furloughed in a government shutdown, many would be affected.
