ALDI To Hold Hiring Event At Del Ray Store

ALEXANDRIA, VA—ALDI, a German-based grocery store chain is hiring in the Del Ray area.

The chain is hosting hiring events across the region, including at its Del Ray store at 425 East Monroe Avenue, which underwent renovations this year and reopened. The hiring event will be 7 a.m.-noon on Thursday, Oct. 5.

ALDI is seeking store associates starting at $13.25 per hour and shift managers $17.75 per hour. Employees working an average 25 hours a week are eligible for full health insurance benefits and dental coverage.

Job requirements are:

• Must be 18 years or older to apply
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Must be available to work anytime between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m., Monday - Sunday
• Retail experience preferred
• Management experience preferred for Manager Trainees
• Drug screening and background check
• Ability to lift 45 pounds
