The Alexandria Aces returned home Sunday afternoon and swept the Youse's Orioles in a doubleheader at Frank E. Mann Field.
The Aces started strong with a four-run first inning of Game One and held on to win 5-3.
The second game was a pitching duel, highlighted by a seven-inning, two-hit shutout by Aces starter Brian O'Neill. Dylan Swetman scored the game's only run on a sacrifice fly in the third inning by David Schanz.

The 1-0 victory was the sixth straight for the Aces. The winning streak ended Monday with a 5-4 loss on the road versus the D.C. Grays, but the Aces remain in second place in the Cal Ripken League standings with a 13-8 record.
The Aces play at Frank Mann Field, 3700 Commonwealth Ave., Alexandria, VA. The field is at Four Mile Run Park, next to Cora Kelly School.
