The Alexandria Aces remained hot with a dominant win over the visiting Southern Maryland Nationals Tuesday night in Alexandria.
The Aces had no trouble getting on base, pounding out 13 hits and drawing nine walks on the evening. Four Alexandria pitchers combined to throw the Aces’ fourth shutout of the season. The final was Aces 10, Nationals 0.
With the win, the Aces remain in second place in the Cal Ripken League standings with a record of 14-8.
