UPDATE: Alexandria City Public Schools CLOSED Tuesday

ALEXANDRIA, VA--ACPS has revised its earlier announcement:

TUESDAY, 2/16, REVISED WEATHER NOTIFICATION: ACPS SCHOOLS ARE CLOSED, ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICES ARE OPEN AT 10 AM. LAS ESCUELAS DE ACPS ESTARÁN CERRADAS, LAS OFICINAS ADMINISTRATIVAS ESTARÁN ABIERTAS A LA 10 DE LA MANANA.

Kindergarten through grade 12 and Virginia Preschool Initiative (VPI) students report two hours later than regular opening time. Morning pre-K programs (Early Childhood Special Education and Preschoolers Learning Together) report two hours later than regular opening time, and dismissed one hour later than usual. Afternoon pre-K reports one hour later than regular opening time and is dismissed at the regular time. Emergency personnel report at regular time. Non-administrative licensed staff, paraprofessionals and school security officers report as soon as possible but no later than 20 minutes before the announced opening of school. All other staff report at regular time. Bus drivers/bus monitors report two hours later than regular time.
