ALEXANDRIA, VA — The new year means the return of Alexandria Winter Restaurant Week later in January.

Alexandria's own restaurant week is hosted by Visit Alexandria twice a year — January in the winter and August in summer. The winter restaurant week will be held from Jan. 20 to 29, which includes two weekends.

During restaurant week, participating restaurants will offer $25, $35 or $45 prix fixe dinner menus for one. Special menus will be available for in-person dining, and some have heated outdoor dining. Restaurants represent different areas of the city, from Old Town and Del Ray to Carlyle/Eisenhower Valley and the West End.
