• Halloween-themed pop-up bar opening Saturday in Del Ray (alxnow.com) — A Halloween-themed pop-up bar, Nightmare on the Avenue, opens this Saturday in Del Ray at 2312 Mount Vernon Avenue, bringing themed cocktails, bites, and a big Halloween-night party. Run by the local HomeGrown Restaurant Group, the bar will stay open through Nov. 1, giving neighbors plenty of time to enjoy the seasonal decorations and spooky atmosphere.
