BB&T Coming to Mt. Vernon Avenue
Branch expected to go in next to Fabulous Frocks of Alexandria.
Del Ray Business Association President Maria Wasowski said Monday that BB&T plans to open a branch on Mt. Vernon Avenue sometime in the fourth quarter of 2012.
The branch will be located in the vacant storefront next to in the 1900 block of Mt. Vernon Avenue. The space was most recently occupied by , .
Wasowski said BB&T officials told her it hadn’t been determined if the branch was going to be in just one or both of the vacant storefronts in the retail strip.
