Creative Summer Camps for Young Artists

There's something for everybody at The Art League's Summer Art Camp — like sculpture, cartooning, painting, and even clay animation.

Parents: need a fun new summer activity for when school lets out? Kids: looking for a creative endeavor to dabble in? There's something for everybody at The Art League's Summer Art Camp — like sculpture, cartooning, painting, and even clay animation. (Check out the gallery for a video made by Art Campers!)

Kids ages 5–15 can go to Basic Art Camp to complete a new project each day, or try a specialty camp in drawing, cartooning, painting, photography, ceramics, sculpture, jewelry, fiber arts, or clay animation — or combine camps to create their own art experience! Registration is now open.

Camps meet over a five-day week in the morning, afternoon, or all day. Camps range in price from $130 to $370 and run weekly from June 17 through August 23 at our newly renovated Madison Annex at 305 Madison St. in Alexandria. (Pst, parents: there's also a full catalog of adult classes this spring and summer at The Art League School.)

All the info about art camp is here. You can find the full list of camps and workshops here, and read parent comments here.
