Help Community Partners for Children Provide Toys for 650 Alexandria Children

Imagine a Christmas without presents. That could be a reality for more than 650 children in Alexandria this year.

Rose, 64, is up early in the morning to see her three small grandchildren off to school. Most evenings Rose feels well enough to cook dinner, but it's hard for a single grandparent on disability to care for her three grandchildren.

For families like Rose's, every holiday season is a scramble to provide a memorable Christmas for her grandchildren, but you can help!

Thanks to the tireless dedication of the people behind Community Partners for Children, a Del Ray-based nonprofit, hundreds of families and their children will know the surprise and joy of unwrapping gifts Christmas morning.

Since 1991, the all-volunteer staff of Community Partners for Children has worked with Alexandria’s Holiday Sharing program to help 8,000 in-need children through their annual Holiday Donation Drive.

This year, 350 families will receive a special invitation to attend CPC’s Distribution Day. A local recreation center is transformed in a winter wonderland and children are entertained with fun activities while their parents choose gifts for them.

Let's all work together to make sure that no child in Alexandria goes without this holiday season.
