On Saturday, May 17, 10AM-2PM, the Del Ray Business Association presents the annual Well Ray Festival, a celebration of health and wellness! This event will also be collecting donations for our featured non-profit organization, Wilderness Kids Alexandria, which provides life-enriching experiences in nature to teenagers from under-resourced families and underserved communities in Alexandria.
Well Ray features 50+ health and lifestyle inspired vendors! Wellness and holistic health practitioners will offer services including therapeutic massages, acupuncture, physical therapy consultations, chiropractic assessments, nutritional counseling, blood pressure screenings, meditation, wellness coaching, energy work and more, wellness merchandise, and food bites. There will also be a rock climbing wall for kids, face painting, and yard games for fun.
Bring a water bottle, yoga mat and your work out shoes because at this festival there will be 15 outdoor classes for all ages for you to jump into! Sessions will include yoga, dance, high fitness, pilates, sound meditation, and educational classes for children and adults. Please register ahead of time to secure a spot! Each class is a $5 donation (all fees will go directly to our non-profit recipient).
The Festival will take place in the Salvation Army and Wellness Junction parking lots on the corner of Mt. Vernon Ave & E Bellefonte Ave (s) in the heart of Del Ray.
