There is a saying that goes, "A dog's bark is worse than its bite." In the case of Bean—a 7-pound, seven-year-old chocolate chihuahua—this is definitely true.
Born in Oregon in 2003, Bean's journey to Del Ray has been a long one. After a brief stay in Washington state, he was adopted in 2005 and flown to Newark Airport to begin life in New York City. A few years later, Bean moved south and settled in Del Ray with his family.
Bean makes up for his small stature with a bold personality that has made him the boss at home. In fact, he's always been the yappy type, once getting his owner evicted from an apartment.

You won't find Bean playing at the park very often. Instead, he enjoys taking a drive in the car or simply exploring the outdoors. Bean certainly has his favorite people and dogs. It takes quite a while for him to warm up to humans, but once he does, he will be your friend forever. His relationship with other canines is similar, although he loves bullying his younger, bigger brother lab mix around.
Temperamental and occasionally loud, Bean is certainly a memorable pooch.
