Del Ray Tree Lighting Tonight

Come drink hot cocoa and sing carols with The Rainbow Lady Saturday, Dec. 13.

The Annual Del Ray Tree Lighting is Saturday, Dec. 13, at 6 p.m., according to the Del Ray Business Association.

The event was rescheduled from last weekend, due to the weather; there is no precipitation in this Saturday’s forecast.

The evening will include carols, cookies, hot cocoa and cider, and the music of The Rainbow Lady (aka Kate Moran), will be leading carols for the crowd at Mt. Vernon Avenue and Oxford Street (the farmer’s market).

Santa will arrive to help light the tree, followed by an opportunity to have your photo taken with Santa.

The evening kicks off the Tree Decorating Competition. So, as you stroll The Avenue take note of your favorite decorated tree. Voting will be online so remember your fave.
