This workshop is part of a national effort to promote energy education and awareness. Mayor William Euille is scheduled to speak between 10:30–11:30 and Councilman Rob Krupicka will help open the session with welcoming remarks at 8:20 a.m.
The goal of this workshop, a project of the National Foundation for Energy Education (NFEE) is to help take energy education "viral" through student-to-student training so that more Americans can make educated decisions when supporting energy policies and in their own personal energy use. It is a forum for teaching future energy leaders for our nation as students learn about a multitude of energy-related careers. NFEE President, Mr. Gerard Katz, commonly known as Mr. Energy, will attend the workshop and help open the session with Energy 101-The Basics.
