I would like to buy gifts at this local shop. I am saddened, however, to see a large variety of fur products on display, including raccoon (usually raccoon dog) and rabbit from China. These animals are treated with unspeakable cruelty. I discussed this with the owner in the past but clearly did not make an impression. I would encourage other members of the Del Ray community to ask this shop owner to show compassion for these helpless animals by keeping their skins out of her inventory. I personally will not shop there until she does.
